MT-101 is an investigational mRNA-engineered chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) monocyte therapy developed using Myeloid Therapeutics' proprietary ATAK platform. It represents the first mRNA-engineered CAR monocyte (CAR-M) to enter clinical trials. MT-101 is designed to target CD5, a surface receptor expressed in many T cell malignancies, including peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). The therapy aims to harness the tumor-infiltrating properties of myeloid cells and stimulate robust anti-tumor immune responses by modifying the tumor microenvironment. MT-101 has received Fast Track designation from the FDA for relapsed or refractory CD5-positive PTCL and is being evaluated in phase 1/2 clinical studies for this indication[1][2][5][6][8].
