Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MT-201 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Mirador Therapeutics that targets Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A), also known as TNFSF15. TL1A is a cytokine in the TNF superfamily that plays a pivotal role in modulating immune responses and promoting tissue fibrosis, particularly in the context of chronic inflammation. By neutralizing TL1A, MT-201 aims to inhibit pro-inflammatory signaling and prevent the fibrotic complications associated with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. The drug was identified using the Mirador360 precision medicine platform, which leverages human genetics and data science to match therapeutic candidates with specific patient populations. MT-201 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers.
