MT-4561

MT-4561 is a novel small molecule drug under clinical investigation as a **BRD4 degrader** for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. BRD4 (Bromodomain-containing protein 4) is responsible for promoting the transcription of cancer-related genes, and its degradation can result in rapid apoptosis and cell death in transcriptionally addicted cancers. MT-4561 is designed to exert continuous anti-tumor effects and is currently being tested in a first-in-human, multicenter, open-label Phase 1/2 clinical trial for various advanced solid tumors, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, biliary tract cancer, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer.
