Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MT-701 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Mirador Therapeutics that targets Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A), also known as TNFSF15. TL1A is a cytokine that plays a critical role in modulating pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic signaling pathways, particularly in the gut. By neutralizing TL1A, MT-701 aims to inhibit the activation of T-cells and fibroblasts, thereby reducing the chronic inflammation and tissue remodeling characteristic of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. The drug was identified and developed using the proprietary Mirador360 platform, which leverages human genetics and data science to identify precision targets for specific patient populations. MT-701 is primarily being developed for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
