Overview

MT027 is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting B7-H3 (CD276), a transmembrane protein overexpressed in various solid tumors and associated with poor prognosis. Developed by Zhejiang University, MT027 is designed to treat advanced primary peritoneal malignancies and abdominal metastatic solid tumors. As an allogeneic product, it is derived from healthy donor cells, potentially offering an "off-the-shelf" therapeutic option. The therapy aims to recognize and eliminate B7-H3-expressing tumor cells while modulating the tumor microenvironment. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I dose-escalation study to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy.
