Overview

MT1013 is a synthetic bispecific peptide drug candidate developed for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. It acts as an agonist of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR), and is also described as a functional osteogenic growth peptide (OGP) analogue. The drug is administered intravenously and is currently being evaluated in phase II clinical trials to assess its efficacy and safety for SHPT in CKD patients on hemodialysis. The developer of MT1013 is Shaanxi Micot Technology[1][2][3][4][5].
