Overview

MT204 is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets interleukin-2 (IL-2). It functions by preventing soluble IL-2 from binding to intermediate-affinity IL-2 receptors and blocking CD25-bound IL-2 on high-affinity IL-2 receptors. This dual mechanism of action results in potent anti-proliferative activity against natural killer (NK) cells and natural killer lymphoma (NKL) cells. Preclinical studies in rhesus monkeys using allogeneic skin graft models have demonstrated that MT204 possesses significant immunosuppressive activity and is well-tolerated, suggesting its potential application in transplantation medicine and the treatment of lymphoproliferative disorders.
