Overview

MT951 is a next-generation, genetically recombinant botulinum toxin formulation being developed by Medytox. Unlike traditional botulinum toxins that are derived from *Clostridium botulinum* cultures, MT951 is produced using recombinant DNA technology, which is intended to provide differentiated competitiveness in terms of purity, consistency, and safety. The drug is positioned as a potential 'game changer' in the global toxin market and was highlighted at the 2025 International Master Course on Aging Science (IMCAS) in Paris. It is currently in early-stage development for both aesthetic and general therapeutic applications.
