Overview

MTC-Ins is a transdermal insulin delivery system developed by Biotts for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. The product utilizes the proprietary Multilayer Transdermal Carrier (MTC) technology, which facilitates the non-invasive transport of large therapeutic molecules, such as insulin, through the skin and into the systemic circulation. By replacing traditional subcutaneous injections with a transdermal patch, MTC-Ins is designed to improve patient adherence and provide a more stable pharmacokinetic profile. The candidate is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and glucose-lowering efficacy.
