MTP Cardiac is an investigational regenerative medicine candidate developed by FetTech, utilizing their proprietary Multi-Tissue Platform (MTP®). The technology produces a tissue-specific extracellular matrix (ECM) derived from porcine tissue, designed to retain the native structural and biochemical signaling molecules necessary for tissue repair. MTP Cardiac is specifically engineered to facilitate the regeneration of damaged heart tissue, such as the myocardium following a myocardial infarction or in cases of heart failure. By providing a bioactive scaffold, the product aims to recruit endogenous cells and promote functional recovery of cardiac structures. As part of FetTech's broader MTP platform, it represents a shift toward using complex biological scaffolds rather than isolated small molecules or single-protein biologics.
