Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MUC-2-Globo H-KLH conjugate vaccine is a therapeutic cancer vaccine that combines the Globo H antigen (a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen) with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) as a carrier protein. It is designed to induce an immune response against cancer cells expressing Globo H. The vaccine works by stimulating the production of antibodies against Globo H-expressing tumor cells, which can lead to complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
