Overview

**MUC1-peptide-DC-CTL** is an autologous, MUC1-directed cytotoxic T-lymphocyte cell therapy. Patient peripheral blood mononuclear cells are processed ex vivo with dendritic cells pulsed with a MUC1 peptide to generate and expand MUC1-specific cytotoxic T cells. Following reinfusion, the cells are intended to recognize and lyse tumor cells expressing mucin-1, a tumor-associated antigen. It was evaluated by Beijing Doing Biomedical Technology in a Phase 1 study in stage IV gastric cancer. ([cancer.gov](https://www.cancer.gov/publications/dictionaries/cancer-drug/def/777275))
