Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mudan Granules are a traditional Chinese medicine used to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy. They are composed of several herbs, including **Astragalus membranaceus** (黄芪), **Vinegar-processed Corydalis yanhusuo** (醋制延胡索), **Panax notoginseng** (三七), **Red Peony** (赤芍), **Salvia miltiorrhiza** (丹参), **Szechuan Lovage** (川芎), **Safflower** (红花), **Strychnos nux-vomica** (苏木), and **Caulis Lonicerae** (鸡血藤). The granules work by tonifying Qi, activating blood circulation, and relieving pain. They are used to alleviate symptoms such as numbness, pain, and abnormal sensations in the limbs and torso, often associated with diabetic neuropathy.
