Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mukkamukkutu Gulika is a traditional polyherbal Ayurvedic tablet manufactured by Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala. It is indicated for the treatment of various types of fevers, including those caused by infections, and is used for immune enhancement. The formulation is a combination of several medicinal herbs known in Ayurveda for their antipyretic (Jwarahara) and immunomodulatory properties. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it was utilized as a supportive treatment to manage symptoms and boost host immunity. As a traditional medicine, its efficacy is based on historical use and observational studies rather than standard Phase 1/2/3 clinical trials.
