Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Multimeric-001 + TIV is a prime-boost influenza vaccine regimen developed by BiondVax Pharmaceuticals (now Scinai Immunotherapeutics). The regimen consists of Multimeric-001 (M-001), a recombinant protein subunit vaccine containing nine conserved linear epitopes from the hemagglutinin (HA), nucleoprotein (NP), and matrix 1 (M1) proteins of influenza A and B strains, administered as a primer followed by a standard trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (TIV) boost. This strategy is designed to enhance the breadth and magnitude of the immune response, particularly in the elderly, by activating both humoral and cellular immunity against conserved viral regions to provide cross-strain protection.
