Overview

These vaccines are typically administered via intradermal or intranodal injection in clinical trials for solid tumors such as melanoma, glioblastoma, and other cancers[2][5]. The mechanism relies on DCs' natural ability to process and present antigens via MHC class I and II pathways—thereby priming cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) as well as helper T cells for targeted tumor cell killing[5].
