mupadolimab

Mupadolimab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets CD73, an ectoenzyme involved in the production of immunosuppressive adenosine. By binding to CD73 on tumor cells and immune cells, mupadolimab inhibits its enzymatic activity and stimulates B cell activation, leading to enhanced immune responses against tumor antigens and viruses. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, triple negative breast cancer, bladder cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer, sarcoma, endometrial cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, oral cavity cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer and metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. It was also previously investigated for COVID-19 but development for this indication has been discontinued. Mupadolimab is administered intravenously[1][2][3][4][7].
