Drug intelligence / Profile preview
murine A10 MAb is a parental murine monoclonal antibody directed against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), also known as CEACAM5. Developed by researchers at Kobe University, the antibody specifically binds to CEA, a cell-surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed in various gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic carcinoma. In preclinical studies, murine A10 MAb and its recombinant mouse-human chimeric Fab fragments have been evaluated for their potential in the radioimmunodetection (imaging) and radioimmunotherapy of pancreatic and other gastrointestinal tumors.
