murine nerve growth factor

Murine nerve growth factor (mNGF), marketed under the brand name Soomagelin (Sutaisheng), is a neurotrophic protein drug developed by Staidson Pharma. It is a purified form of the nerve growth factor protein derived from mouse submandibular glands. mNGF acts as an agonist for the high-affinity TrkA receptor and the low-affinity p75NTR receptor, which are essential for the survival, growth, and differentiation of sensory and sympathetic neurons.
