Mutant carp parvalbumin (mCyp c 1) is a hypoallergenic recombinant protein developed for allergen-specific immunotherapy of fish allergy. It is a modified version of the wild-type carp parvalbumin (Cyp c 1), engineered to have significantly reduced allergenicity while maintaining immunogenicity. The protein is administered subcutaneously as an alum-adsorbed formulation.
