Overview

This investigational cell therapy consists of autologous T cells genetically engineered to express a T-cell receptor (TCR) specifically targeting the KRAS G12V mutation. Developed by Changhai Hospital, the therapy is designed for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer who express the KRAS G12V mutation and the HLA-A*11:01 allele. The process involves isolating a patient's own T cells, transducing them with a viral vector to express the specific TCR, and re-infusing them following a lymphodepleting preconditioning regimen of cyclophosphamide and fludarabine. The engineered T cells are intended to recognize and eliminate cancer cells presenting the KRAS G12V neoantigen in the context of HLA-A*11:01, providing a personalized immunotherapy approach for a common driver mutation in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
