Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The mutant RAS peptide vaccine is an immunotherapy composed of specific 13-mer mutant Ras peptides and a lipid-based adjuvant (DETOX™). It is designed to induce specific T-cell mediated immune responses against mutant Ras proteins, which are oncogenic drivers in various cancers, for the adjuvant treatment of pancreatic and colorectal cancers. The vaccine aims to leverage the immune system's ability to detect single amino-acid substitutions in mutant Ras, which are uniquely expressed in tumor tissue.
