Overview

MUTYRP1-TCB is a **bispecific T cell engager antibody** designed to target the melanoma antigen **Tyrosinase-related protein 1 (Tyrp1)** and **CD3** on T cells. By simultaneously binding to Tyrp1 on tumor cells and CD3 on cytotoxic T cells, MUTYRP1-TCB recruits and activates T cells to kill Tyrp1-expressing melanoma cells. Preclinical studies show that it enhances T cell infiltration and cytotoxic activity in tumor models and can shift tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) populations toward more active effector phenotypes. The agent is being investigated primarily for **melanoma** and possibly other Tyrp1-positive cancers. The prefix "mu" indicates a murine (mouse) surrogate molecule used in preclinical models, suggesting that MUTYRP1-TCB is the code for a mouse/human construct for preclinical investigations[2].
