**MV-NB-02** is an investigational bivalent ganglioside cancer vaccine for neuroblastoma. It consists of the tumor-associated ganglioside antigens GD2-lactone and GD3-lactone, each covalently conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin. The vaccine is designed to induce endogenous anti-GD2 and anti-GD3 antibody responses that recognize ganglioside-expressing neuroblastoma cells and promote immune-mediated tumor-cell killing. It was originated at Memorial Sloan Kettering, licensed to MabVax, and subsequently licensed directly by Y-mAbs. Clinical protocols administered the vaccine subcutaneously with the saponin adjuvant OPT-821 and, in some studies, oral beta-glucan; those adjuncts are not synonymous with MV-NB-02 itself.
