Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MV-NIS + atezolizumab is a combination therapy consisting of an attenuated measles virus genetically engineered to produce sodium iodide symporter (MV-NIS) and atezolizumab, a PD-L1 inhibitor. This combination is being investigated for the treatment of recurrent and metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). MV-NIS is administered intratumorally, while atezolizumab is given intravenously. The therapy aims to leverage both oncolytic viral therapy and immune checkpoint inhibition to enhance anti-tumor responses.
