Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MV2C2 is a humanized monoclonal antibody and camelid single-domain antibody (sdAb) targeting survivin (BIRC5), an anti-apoptotic protein that is highly expressed in various cancers and involved in the survival of autoreactive immune cells. Developed by MimiVax, MV2C2 is designed to inhibit the function of survivin, thereby inducing apoptosis in malignant cells and potentially modulating immune responses in autoimmune diseases. The drug is currently in early-stage clinical development for autoimmune conditions and is undergoing IND-enabling studies for oncology indications, representing a novel approach to targeting intracellular proteins through antibody-based modalities.
