Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MVA-PEV is a personalized cancer vaccine component developed by Nouscom. It utilizes a Modified Vaccinia Ankara (MVA) viral vector to deliver patient-specific neoantigens identified through next-generation sequencing (NGS) of tumor biopsies. In the NOUS-PEV clinical program, MVA-PEV is used as a booster following a prime with GAd-PEV (a Great Ape Adenoviral vector). This heterologous prime-boost strategy is designed to induce a robust and broad T-cell response against multiple tumor-specific mutations. It is currently being evaluated in combination with pembrolizumab for the treatment of advanced cutaneous melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
