MVG

MVG is an oral multivitamin and mineral complex formulation developed to alleviate symptoms and stabilize tear film in patients with intractable dry eye. It contains tocopherol acetate, ascorbic acid, thiamine nitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine HCl, β-carotene, zinc oxide, selenium, and ubidecarenone. The drug works primarily through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, addressing oxidative stress and inflammation which are key mechanisms in dry eye disease. It also contributes to neuropathic pain alleviation, ocular surface protection, and promotion of goblet cell proliferation.
