Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MVP-104-Multispecific Engager is a preclinical multispecific antibody engager developed by Multiverse Pharma for the treatment of glioma. The therapeutic is constructed using the company's proprietary MVP-104 blood-brain barrier (BBB) shuttle platform, which is designed to enhance the delivery of large molecules into the central nervous system. By targeting the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R), a receptor frequently implicated in the growth and survival of glioblastoma cells, the engager aims to provide a targeted antitumor effect within the brain environment. As a multispecific engager, it is designed to bridge immune effector cells to tumor cells or simultaneously inhibit multiple signaling pathways to overcome resistance mechanisms in high-grade gliomas.
