Overview

MVP005 is an intranasal spray formulation of naloxone, a small molecule opioid antagonist. Developed by Mitovie Pharma Ltd, it is being investigated in a Phase I clinical trial to compare its pharmacokinetics, safety, and tolerability against an intranasal administration of naloxone solution for injection in healthy adult subjects. Naloxone is primarily used to rapidly reverse the effects of opioid overdose.
