Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MVX-300 is a conditionally activated small molecule drug conjugate (CA-SMDC) being developed by MaveriX Oncology. It is designed to deliver a STING (Stimulator of Interferon Genes) agonist payload selectively to the tumor microenvironment. The CA-SMDC platform utilizes a stable, inactive conjugate that undergoes fragmentation upon engagement with tumor- and immune-associated hydroxylases, thereby releasing the active immune agonist. This approach aims to activate innate immune responses within the tumor while minimizing systemic toxicity. MVX-300 is currently in the discovery and preclinical stage for the treatment of solid tumors.
