Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MVX-484 is an orally administered, conditionally activated small-molecule drug conjugate (CA-SMDC) being developed by MaveriX Oncology for the treatment of multiple solid tumors. Utilizing the IMPACT-2X platform technology, MVX-484 is designed to selectively deliver a nucleoside analog cytotoxic payload into the tumor microenvironment by exploiting tumor-associated hydroxylases that are overexpressed in cancer cells and immunosuppressive cells. This targeted delivery results in intratumoral DNA damage and cellular stress, which in turn triggers immunomodulatory and immunostimulatory responses. MVX-484 is currently in Phase 1a development as a daily monotherapy for patients with advanced solid tumors.
