Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MVX-700 is a conditionally activated small molecule drug conjugate (CA-SMDC) developed by MaveriX Oncology. It is designed to treat metastatic cancers, specifically metastatic urothelial carcinoma (mUC). The drug consists of an auristatin tyramine payload, which belongs to the microtubule inhibitor class of cytotoxics. The CA-SMDC platform allows for the selective delivery and activation of the payload within the tumor microenvironment, thereby potentially reducing systemic toxicity while maintaining potent anti-tumor activity through the disruption of microtubule dynamics and induction of cell death.
