MWPC-003

MWPC-003 is an investigational **sterile injectable bromelain solution** composed of a mixture of medical-grade proteolytic enzymes and developed by MediWound for **Dupuytren contracture**. It is a biologic enzyme therapy administered by local injection, with pharmacology described as anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and protein-modulating. Its intended therapeutic effect appears to derive from the **proteolytic activity of bromelain enzymes**, which can enzymatically modulate or degrade pathologic protein-rich connective tissue within the fibrotic lesion in Dupuytren contracture.
