MWX203 S3

MWX203 S3 (also referred to as MWX203 or MWX-203) is an investigational small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Shanghai Minwei Biotechnology, a subsidiary of Lepu Medical. It is designed to target angiopoietin-like 3 (ANGPTL3) to treat dyslipidemia and hyperlipidemia. By silencing ANGPTL3 expression, MWX203 S3 aims to lower serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels. The drug has completed a Phase 1 clinical trial in healthy Chinese subjects and is currently in Phase 2 clinical development in China, both as a monotherapy and in combination with inclisiran sodium, for patients with poorly controlled mixed dyslipidemia.
