Overview

MY012 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Mabylon AG that targets the Apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a CARD (ASC), a central component of the inflammasome. During chronic inflammation, ASC forms large extracellular complexes known as 'ASC specks' that are released from cells and serve to propagate and amplify inflammatory signaling. MY012 is designed to neutralize these extracellular ASC specks, thereby halting the cycle of inflammation. The program is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and neuroinflammatory disorders.
