Overview

MYCB1-BDC is a standardized, pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis extract developed and marketed by MYCB1. It is formulated as an oily oral solution containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) in specific ratios, such as 25:1 and 50:1. The extract is primarily prescribed in Germany for the management of chronic pain, spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis, and other conditions responsive to cannabinoid therapy. THC acts as a partial agonist at cannabinoid CB1 and CB2 receptors, while CBD modulates these receptors and other targets to provide analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle-relaxant effects.
