MYCIDAC-C is an active immunotherapy developed by Cadila Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), specifically squamous cell carcinoma. The drug consists of a suspension of heat-killed *Mycobacterium w* (also known as *Mycobacterium indicus pranii*), which acts as a Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) agonist. By stimulating TLR2, MYCIDAC-C induces a Th1-type cell-mediated immune response. It is the first immunotherapy agent specifically designed to target Desmocollin-3 (DSC-3), a gene frequently expressed in squamous cell lung cancer. Administered via intradermal injection, MYCIDAC-C is typically used in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy doublets to improve overall survival, response rates, and quality of life in patients with advanced NSCLC. It received approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) and was launched in 2013.
