Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Mycobiotic** is a dietary probiotic supplement composed of live strains of lactic acid bacteria, specifically *Lactobacillus plantarum* AMT4, *Lactobacillus plantarum* AMT14, and *Bifidobacterium animalis* AMT30. It is formulated to enrich the gut microbiome, support the limitation of pathogenic bacterial and fungal growth—particularly *Candida* spp.—and favorably alter the qualitative and quantitative composition of the intestinal microbiota. It is indicated for individuals post-antibiotic therapy, those with fungal infections of the digestive tract (especially *Candida* overgrowth), and those with lactose or gluten intolerance. There is clinical testing associated with its effect on intestinal *Candida* overgrowth[1][3][6].
