The Mycoplasma bovis strain HB150 live vaccine is a veterinary biologic developed for the prevention of infections caused by *Mycoplasma bovis* in cattle, particularly bovine respiratory disease (BRD). The vaccine is based on a live attenuated strain, HB150, which was derived from a virulent field isolate (HB0801) through 150 serial passages in vitro. This attenuation process results in the loss of key virulence factors while maintaining immunogenicity. The vaccine stimulates both systemic and mucosal immune responses, including the production of specific antibodies and T-cell mediated immunity, providing protection against pneumonia and lung lesions associated with *M. bovis* infection. It was primarily developed by researchers at Huazhong Agricultural University and was approved as a new veterinary drug in China.
