Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mygotes are laboratory-produced, autologous, embryonic-like developmental-state cells generated from patient-derived somatic cells using a proprietary, non-genetic reprogramming method called the Mygotic Process. Unlike induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), which require genetic or viral reprogramming, Mygotes are produced without viral vectors or transcription-factor engineering, reverting somatic cells to a highly plastic, totipotent-like state with globally demethylated DNA and two pronuclei. Developed by MygoGenesis, Mygotes are designed to serve as a natural, potent, and scalable cellular foundation for applications in regenerative medicine, cell therapy, tissue engineering, and biomanufacturing.
