Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MyHIF (also known as WGI-0047 or RX-0047) is an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) designed to target and inhibit hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1-alpha). Originally developed by Rexahn and later licensed to Haichang Biotech (and its subsidiary WhiteOak), MyHIF is formulated using lipid nanoparticle (LNP) or lipid-albumin nanoparticle (LAN) technology to enhance delivery to solid tumors. By downregulating HIF-1-alpha expression, MyHIF aims to overcome hypoxia-induced chemoresistance, inhibit tumor angiogenesis, and suppress tumor growth. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors, including small cell lung carcinoma.
