**MYM-V202** is an investigational prophylactic HIV-1 virosome-based vaccine developed by Mymetics. It is a two-population influenza-virosome preparation displaying HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein gp41-derived antigens: P1 peptide on one virosome population and recombinant truncated gp41 on the other. Both virosome populations incorporate the lipid-anchored Toll-like receptor 7 and Toll-like receptor 8 agonist 3M-052 to enhance antigen-specific mucosal and systemic immune responses. The candidate was used in the MACIVIVA program as a proof-of-concept product for thermostable, cold-chain-independent liquid and solid mucosal vaccine formulations, including intranasal and oral powders and sublingual tablets. Public evidence supports preclinical formulation and animal-study development; the completed Phase 1 study registered for Mymetics evaluated the distinct earlier candidate MYM-V101, not MYM-V202.
