Myncov1003 is a thermotolerant, adjuvanted protein subunit vaccine candidate developed by Mynvax for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine is designed to induce a robust immune response by targeting the Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein. A key feature of Myncov1003 is its exceptional thermal stability; it is engineered to remain stable at room temperature (up to 37°C) for approximately four weeks and can withstand temperatures up to 100°C for short durations. This thermotolerant profile, often referred to as a "warm vaccine," is intended to simplify storage and distribution by reducing or eliminating the requirement for a continuous cold chain, which is particularly beneficial for resource-limited settings. The vaccine is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
