Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Myncov1006 is an engineered, recombinant protein subunit vaccine candidate developed by Mynvax for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine is designed to target the Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) and other highly conserved regions of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein to elicit a broad and potent immune response. A key feature of Mynvax's technology is the development of thermostable 'warm vaccines' that can withstand higher temperatures, potentially simplifying distribution by reducing reliance on cold-chain infrastructure. Myncov1006 is intended to provide protection against multiple variants of the virus by focusing on epitopes that are less prone to mutation. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
