Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Myotop is a brand of muscle relaxant products developed and marketed by Zuventus Healthcare, primarily containing tolperisone hydrochloride. Tolperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that works on the central nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord, to alleviate muscle stiffness, spasms, and associated pain. The Myotop product line includes several formulations: standalone tolperisone in immediate-release (150 mg) and sustained-release (450 mg) forms, as well as fixed-dose combinations with analgesics such as paracetamol or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like diclofenac. These products are indicated for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions including muscle spasms, strains, sprains, rigidity, and spasticity in adults.
