Myr5A is a targeted lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system developed by Qana Therapeutics for the treatment of rare pediatric and adolescent cancers, specifically Ewing sarcoma and Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRST). The platform is designed to selectively deliver therapeutic payloads to tumor cells, aiming to enhance efficacy while reducing systemic toxicity. As of 2023, Myr5A is in preclinical development, with studies conducted at Emory University in collaboration with Dr. Jason Yustein's laboratory and supported by funding from the Rutledge Cancer Foundation. It is being investigated as a component of a combination therapy approach alongside two other undisclosed therapies.
