Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Myskin is an autologous cell therapy product consisting of cultured human keratinocytes, developed by Regrow Biosciences for the treatment of severe burns, chronic non-healing wounds, and vitiligo. The therapeutic process involves harvesting a small biopsy of healthy skin from the patient, from which keratinocytes are isolated and expanded ex vivo in a specialized laboratory. These expanded cells are then transplanted back onto the patient's wound or depigmented area. The mechanism of action involves the direct delivery of viable, proliferative keratinocytes that facilitate rapid re-epithelialization, stimulate the secretion of essential growth factors, and promote organized tissue repair. This approach significantly accelerates the healing process, reduces the risk of infection, and minimizes scarring compared to conventional treatments.
