Overview
MYXV-IL15 is a recombinant oncolytic virus based on the myxoma virus (MYXV), genetically engineered to express interleukin-15 (IL-15), an immune regulatory cytokine. The **mechanism of action** involves selective infection and lysis of cancer cells by the myxoma virus and local secretion of IL-15, which stimulates a robust immune response including proliferation and activation of NK cells, memory T cells, and regulatory T cells.
