Overview

N-1T3H9Ab is an experimental monoclonal antibody that targets Nectin-4 (Nectin cell adhesion molecule 4), currently under investigation for the treatment of asthma. Developed by researchers at Soonchunhyang University, it aims to modulate pulmonary inflammation by regulating epithelial cell-derived cytokines. In preclinical murine models, N-1T3H9Ab has demonstrated the ability to decrease airway resistance and reduce the infiltration of immune cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. Mechanistically, the antibody inhibits the expression of the IL-33/ST2/IL-1RAcP complex and suppresses the activated IRAK signaling pathway, leading to a reduction in goblet cell hyperplasia, lung fibrosis, and inflammatory cytokine levels.
